A joyful start: welcoming our youngest learners to school!

The first week of school was quite busy for all of us, but do you know how it was for the youngest?

This year, three new students entered our school! Together with the second graders, our little ones have spent their very first week in school.  

During the orientation week, our kids had the opportunity not only to celebrate the “Day of Knowledge” and the IB PYP birthday, but also to take part in many activities, have their first classes in English and Latvian literacy, talk about Safety Rules and the Code of Conduct at school! Our students learnt how to use Padlet, created posters on the topic “Who We Are” to introduce themselves, explored the school’s neighbourhood and did stretching in the park.

Our school wishes the little ones great luck and lots of new discoveries and surprises! We hope that this year is going to be filled with pleasant memories for each of our youngest!

Remember that IB PYP’s doors are always open for the new students, no matter what month of the year it is!
