Christmas is a Time of Miracles!
The final days before the winter holidays were no exception for our primary school students. During these days the school transformed into a fabulous “Gnome Kingdom” brimming with festive spirit. The students worked together to decorate the classrooms, made cards and souvenirs for their loved ones, prepared thematic costumes and creative performances with the help of their parents and teachers.
Though the anticipation of performing at the school concert was a bit worrying, our students shone brightly on stage. Their colourful costumes, dancing and poems captured the audience’s hearts, earning thunderous applause and sincere smiles.
An unforgettable event for the second-graders was a trip to Namdaru darbnīca – the place where our students had the opportunity to get acquainted with the art of woodworking, create traditional Latvian Christmas decorations puzuri and participate in the Nativity scene.
These Christmas events were more than just exciting activities—they filled our hearts with warmth, joy, and the sense of approaching magic of the holiday season.
