Our pre-Valentine’s concert-lecture with guitarist Janis Bērziņš turned out to be a true celebration of creativity and expression.
Students explored how the guitar can produce an incredible range of sounds through modern techniques, technology, and different musical styles, while also learning how musicians shape emotion through music. The interactive part allowed them to test instruments, experiment with effects, and even perform together with the artist, receiving professional feedback. The event was not only entertaining but genuinely educational, helping students understand music as both art and skill, and leaving many inspired to practice, listen more thoughtfully, and see music as a powerful way to communicate feelings.
