DP1 Students Explore Innovation and AI at Lecture by Claudio A. Rivera
DP1 students from International School Premjers had the opportunity to attend an inspiring open lecture by Claudio A. Rivera at Riga Nordic University (RNU) titled “From Spark to Start: Turning Ideas Into Impact.”
During the session, students learned how innovative ideas can be developed into successful ventures as they gained valuable insights into the world of entrepreneurship. Claudio A. Rivera shared practical strategies for shaping startup concepts, identifying real needs, and testing ideas effectively. Students also presented and discussed their own business ideas.
The lecture further included an open discussion on the opportunities, challenges, and future of artificial intelligence. The question “How will AI shape industries, education, and modern ways of working?” sparked most thoughtful reflections and curiosity among students.
One student described the experience by saying:
“The lecture made us see how ideas can actually grow into something real. It felt challenging, but very connected to the world we’re stepping into.”
The event encouraged creativity, innovation, and critical thinking, giving students a deeper understanding of how meaningful impact can be created.
The school is proud of the DP1 students for their active participation and looks forward to their future projects and initiatives.
