PYP Students Explore the World of Puppet Animation

On Tuesday, May 27, our Primary Years Programme (PYP) students had the opportunity to participate in a creative and engaging workshop led by the puppet animation film studio “Animācijas brigāde” Ltd. This event was generously funded by “Latvijas Skolas Soma”.

During the workshop, students were introduced to the art of stop-motion animation and puppet filmmaking. They learned about the animation process, from character design to scene creation, and gained valuable insight into how animated stories are brought to life.

This hands-on experience not only sparked students’ creativity but also deepened their understanding of visual storytelling and artistic expression. We are grateful for this opportunity to connect learning with real-world creative industries.
